Crashing Copper

As advertised previously, the A.S.C.
rendezvoused at Copper Mountain today
with me, and a hooky playing B-Luv.
It's always like coming home when we
come back here, today was no exception..
One definition is: "a place of popular resort."
Awesome terrain park feature, so I stop to grab a shot...
...Then out of nowhere,...
this guy came blasting through,...
...And over the sign.
...Precious moments. ( the rider was unscathed)
B-Luv found it to be crowded in Copper's halfpipe.
So he just decided to crash.
Any visit to Copper is NOT bonafide
until a sighting of the legendary "Frank".
Sure enough I spotted him and snapped his pic.
Unidentified rider owns a portion of pipe.
Atop Spaulding Bowl.
B-Luv launches temporarily...
From a cornice near "S"ierra Lift.
Do I wanna bike or ski today?...Wait a minute...
Bike-ski !? That's NUTS!
Disabled Chilean skier rips down the slalom course.
B-Luv bravely steps off of the top of Union Peak.
Copper Bowl's snow cat chugs onto
Tucker Mountain with a full load of lazy skiers
Top of Storm King surface lift.
Copper Mountain has a freeride team,
and they were in the terrain park today,
making small work of the big rollers and hits,
and making look easy, nice.
That's right, day 18, of season 18.0.

I've skied a lot and taken a ton
of pics the last two days, what a blast.
Thanks, to Bluv for the hook-up,
always a treat. More to come next week.
