Democratic Presidential Debates!
The Debates had nothing on the
excitement that we experienced this
Friday at Copper as an undetermined
amount of fresh powder greeted us, and
continued to greet us all afternoon
creating a fresh run, every run, it was great.
Mean Gene The Ski Machine hot
on the trail of a leopard yeti (very fast).
Here I go down the Drainpipe.
None of this has anything to with debates...t.s.

Now With Video!
We (me and Al-X) must have been
crazy for going to Copper this afternoon,
but if we don't suck it up and get out even
on the crappy days we're nothing but
lousy tourists then are'nt we, yeah.
We arrived to a balmy 9 degrees of
winter warmth at the lot, with temps
at the mountaintop below zero. Being the
toughguys we are, we squeezed in about
5 runs before bailing back to the double digit
climate from which we started.
Wow blogger now features video,
too bad I just have about 15 seconds of
soundless low res vid to work with.
Anyway here I am on Slipnot at the
Enchanted Forest shot by Al-X
That all for now.

Well Blow Me Down.
The winds were just starting
to settle in when I arrived at Mary Jane
at about 1:30 today. It was beautiful
so far as the day went. As I started up the
mountain, the approaching winds started
to cause lift closings from the top,
then to the bottom because of 50+ mph winds,
shutting down much of the mountain.
I managed to sneak a few runs in before
bailing, the winds are the beginnings
of a front bringing more snow, the next post
should be very white...let's hope.
from the trees and a little help from
