Closing Out A Shorty...

From atop "The Ridge" @ Loveland Ski Area on the Continental Divide
I took a solo run to Loveland to finish out the
2015-16 ski season, this my 22nd, I think...
I settled for a whopping three trips out.
Each day out was great nonetheless, maybe more trips will be in store for next season.
Yeah this post is a bit late, I got tied up.
Back to my familiar and favorite haunts.
 Stickers!!! Everywhere here at Loveland.
Reflection selfie.
Thanks for checking in.
See you next season clowns!

Mandatory Purgatory

The last time A.S.C. visited this place was called Durango Mountain Resort because its prudish owners thought its original name was too risqué. We're very thankful it's proper name has been reinstated..."Purgatory"; a place or state of temporary suffering or misery....
Bluv once again got us "the Hook-up" big thanks to the forces that perspired to make this Friday trip happen.
This snow was pretty good, except for right.....HERE.

 Danger always rocks!!
 Oh...hello.
Sailing away on the final run on Styx. If that was suffering and misery, well then I'll have some more please.

...until next time...buh bye.

Back From The Dead

I'm back suckas!
Hard to believe its been five long years since my last post to the Afternoon Ski Club. The ol' club just kinda fizzled out unfortunately. Never fear, even with less visits to the hill I will try to post those precious few trips. Today it was our first of the season. B-luv treated, and drove too, lucky me, and thanks!
 B-Luv in the Waterfall area
Hmmm, been awhile, where the hell am I?
A lot of dead trees since the last time I was here, stupid pine beetles.

Fresh tracks, second run, eat 'em up yum.
 pow encrusted.

Even days after its last storm, Wolf Creek still had many fresh turns, and a gorgeous day to boot. It was soooo good to be back! With any luck, a trip to Purgatory ( The ski area, not the eternal waiting room between Heaven and Hell)
is in store in the near future.
