...With a Little Help From My Friends.

Forgot my camera today(Thursday),
luckily Glen had it under control,
all the shooting was done by committee
and everything looked great, thanks all.
The Janes Super Gauge lift carries
Glen(Mean Gene), Me(exhibiting the finest
feature of the Swany Toaster mitt), B.O.B.,
Tone Loc, & Al-X(from right to left)
to the mountaintop.

Me-n-MG.

Thick as thieves.

Bros.

Finally, some help. Hello, McFly !?

Glen on freshie detail.

Me and B.O.B. scoring some freshies.

Only a precious few weeks remain

in the season be sure to view the

exciting conclusion.

Blog Fodder.

Thazzitt, thaz all I got for today, one lousy
shot of some goofy strangers, from the front
the guy on the left, looked like one of the
astronauts from the 1960's film
"The Planet of the Apes"
(Please click to enlarge.)
Nothing goes better with an orange one piece suit,
than a pink belt, maybe he's a pink belt in
deer hunting/skiing, I dunno but I saw
a ton of interesting clothing choices today
while waiting in lift line. I think I saw
Shaun White at least 20 times today,
at least I think it was him behind all of
those super rad bandanas.

***Special Edition***

This post is devoted to our latest offshoot of
the Afternoon Ski Club started in the Great Lakes
region by none other than Skutch McGerkin
aka Turd Ferguson. Thanks for the pics Skutch.

Shreddin' some hardpack.
Navigating the dense forests with sheer ease.
Witnesses claim that he got 70-80 feet of air on this kicker...nice.
Thanks again for the pics, and anyone who loves
afternoon ski/ridin' send pics and notes.
I'll be back strong next week as the spring
breaks masses will soon be breaking and the
herds will thin, clearing the way for us regulars.
Come on back now...hear?

Born to Run(s).

No, "The Boss" was'nt on board today,

but we had the next best thing... Half of

New Jersey's purely metal, Omegalord

as well as some of their crew. J-Sun, Chauncey,

Hollywood and Loco made our standard crack of 1:00

A.S.C. roll call for lotso fresh a WP/MJ. Well over

a foot had accumulated in the last couple of days.

Today was kind of a warm up, Loco had some technical

difficulties and had a single run to the bottom

to discover the ski was trashed, ending his day,

so please help, send good skis, we

gonna need some for later this week.

A minor setback this morning delayed our departure,

don't forget to use your parking brakes everyone.

The last time we were all assembled,

then the group kinda just disintegrated.

Haarrreewoooo.

If I was you I would check back soon.

Jane on the Brain.

Our ol' friend B.O.B. was just re-activated
from the D.L. and made a triumphant return
with the A.S.C. today at Winter Park/Mary Jane,
although it was Jane we came to see, we did tool
around over by the Eagle Flatuence too.
Barely a cloud all day.
A view from the top.
going down.
B.O.B. thinks it was a good day to wear a helmet.
...and then skiied down this, not your average sledding hill.
I'm going for at least 30 days this season,
and I'm gettin' close. Some visitors may be
coming to ski with us this week from the
east coast. If you're in the Colorado
Rocky Mountains and want to join us
some afternoon, drop a comment.

The A.S.C. vs. The Powder Pirates

Powder pirates are those scurvy rathskellian dogs
that can sneak up from behind with the sole intention
of poaching your line, how dare they. On a powder day
one must be constantly vigilant of these snowy vermin.
Copper was the area of choice once again, but always a
popular choice as me and Al-x skiied through a cold,
winrty afternoon fending off powder pirates.

Some fresh powder booty that I just laid claim to.

Holy Banzai Man!

Me on Lil' Trees.

I knew it!

It's only getting better out here,

so I'll be posting a few more of these

so please come back.

Sun Drenched.

Rockin' it solo with some fatass headphones.

We know already.
Leftovers from Sunday's storm.
Tracks.
Blackish blue sky.
Those zipper like tracks, center frame, all wulfwee...oh yeah.
Today 1st run, So Fine!
So much fresh, so sweet.
Tips.
There was so much fresh stuff today here
at Copper, and an endless blue sky, what a day,
what a season, so much more to come.
