Hoodoo You Love?

The streak of continuously skied seasons remains unbroken as the lone component(that's me) of the A.S.C. made it out for a beautiful Bluebird day at Hoodoo. This was my first trip here to ski, and I enjoyed the area very much. It's modest in size, but has that excellent small resort feel. Just pull up,slap your gear on and go. The mountain itself is cool, a little something for all abilities, and the surrounding scenery is pretty nice too! What's best is that in the later part of the season Hoodoo offers a Thrifty Thursday special, Lift tix just $25! That's real local love there!

Yeah...no shit.

Thanks for looking, and never stop skiing!

Better Late Than Never

Just a few shots from my one and only ski outing this season, here in May. Regardless of the date it was a beautiful bluebird day at Mt. Bachelor and I'll take it! Thanks to my great and wonderful sister for sending me the pass to make it happen, continuing my streak to 28 consecutive ski seasons!

 Fire, fire below the mountain.

Bluebird @ Bachelor

Thanks to the awesome Tracy M. who helped to ensure that the Afternoon Ski Club streak continued for yet another season. This time out on 4/20/18 marked my 25th season in a row. This was also auspicious because this was my first time skiing Oregon at the stunning Mt. Bachelor. The views are worth the price of admission alone here!

Closing Out A Shorty...

From atop "The Ridge" @ Loveland Ski Area on the Continental Divide
I took a solo run to Loveland to finish out the
2015-16 ski season, this my 22nd, I think...
I settled for a whopping three trips out.
Each day out was great nonetheless, maybe more trips will be in store for next season.
Yeah this post is a bit late, I got tied up.
Back to my familiar and favorite haunts.
 Stickers!!! Everywhere here at Loveland.
Reflection selfie.
Thanks for checking in.
See you next season clowns!

Mandatory Purgatory

The last time A.S.C. visited this place was called Durango Mountain Resort because its prudish owners thought its original name was too risqué. We're very thankful it's proper name has been reinstated..."Purgatory"; a place or state of temporary suffering or misery....
Bluv once again got us "the Hook-up" big thanks to the forces that perspired to make this Friday trip happen.
This snow was pretty good, except for right.....HERE.

 Danger always rocks!!
 Oh...hello.
Sailing away on the final run on Styx. If that was suffering and misery, well then I'll have some more please.

...until next time...buh bye.
